Giovanna Hirsch
Researcher and consultant focused on local economic development issues and urban policies.
She has a PhD in Development Economics at the University of Florence, where she studied rural-urban migration flows and development patterns in the Pearl River Delta, China. She also has a MSc in Political Economy of Development at SOAS, School of African and Oriental Studies of the University of London.
She published several papers on local economic development both in Italy and in South East Asia (China, South Korea).
